I had a chat with Sengmin Cho, the developer of Hypercent, the studio behind [Backroom Company].
Personally, I love and hate playing horror games because they are so fun but scary at the same time. However, by playing with up to 8 people at the same time, you will be kind of sharing that experience with other players, which makes it less scary.

Q. Can you tell us a little bit about your game?
In short, our game is like horror corporation game which you can play up to eight players. Every stage you have to qualify a certain quota by avoiding the scary creatures.
Can you tell us about your studio?
Well, I think this is going to be a real long story. Actually, I am the produce and in charge of developing in the company. I just met our co-founder John at G-Star. So, we established a company this year. So our company is actually not a small studio but rather a big company.
What's your favorite genre of games?
I just fell in love in horror comedies. And so I decided to make the game like horror comedy. So my favorite game of all time now is [리썰 컴퍼니].
